Later, his original audio became a trend and was adopted in numerous viral videos on the TikTok app. While you've been scrolling on TikTok recently, you've probably noticed the term 'sheesh' or 'sheeesh' all over your personalized page.
This slang phrase is trending on TikTok at the moment, and people are repeatedly saying the term 'sheesh' in a high-pitched sound in numerous viral videos.
The last viral video relating to this trend that showed up on my FYP was a guy who owns a Tesla car having fun with a custom horn tolling 'sheesh sheeeshh' at the gas station.
The audio has now completely taken over TikTok. Short videos with the hashtag #sheesh have been watched over 1.5B views on the platform. That's insanely crazy!
Obviously, the total number does not come from just one trend but a combination of the previous ones. The sneaker meetup parodies crossed my mind.
And, it's not just TikTok that has popularized the word 'sheesh' on the Internet. Other social networks such as Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, and YouTube also contributed to popularizing it.
Keep in note that the term 'sheesh' has been around since the 1950s, popularized in 2017 by NBA Star LeBron James and the drip culture, all of which have resulted in inspiring this latest TikTok trend.
