1. Unlimited Time and Stamina to Clean the Farm

At the beginning of the game, Jeanne will guide you to the farm that will serve as your home. Here, she will instruct you on farming basics, including preparing the soil for planting seeds and watering crops.

During this initial phase, time will stop, and you won't expend any stamina while working. This grace period lasts until the following day when you encounter Rowan, the yellow sprite.

Before you pluck out any weeds obstructing Rowan, take advantage of this time to clear all the weeds on your farm!

Although it may not seem particularly useful initially, as weeds tend to regrow quickly, you can combine this tactic with the second secret for maximum benefit.

2. Unlimited Free Cabbage Seeds from Jeanne

When you are learning how to grow crops, Jeanne will guide you to plant the cabbage seeds she gives to you.

When you are done, she asks you to enter the house. Before entering the house, plant the rest of the cabbage seeds she gave to you, and then talk to her again.

Surprisingly, she will give you 10 free cabbage seeds again! Unfortunately, you can not plant it much at the time, because you can not pull all the weeds on the farm.

For that reason, the next day after meeting Rowan (Spring 3), head to Lighthouse Overlook (just walk to the left from your farm) and talk to Jeanne near the sea cliffs.

She will give you 10 free cabbage seeds again if the seeds she gave to you have been planted. This can be done repeatedly until you are satisfied and get bored!

This is extremely useful if you want to earn money easily at the beginning of the game before the mine opens.

The price of cabbage is 40 G each. If you plant 50 cabbage seeds, you can earn 2000 G in total. This money can then be used to repair bridges and villagers' houses, facilitating progress in the game.

However, it's worth noting that this cheat can only be utilized before you repair Sam's house, as he is a merchant who sells a variety of items.

3. The Immortal Animals

In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, your Dog, Bobcat, and Horse cannot die, even if you neglect to feed them for an extended period.

However, as a consequence, their friendship levels will reset to zero. Additionally, if other animals perish, you can revive them using animal medicine, similar to performing an "Edo Tensei" in the game.
