Shops - Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland Guide and Walkthrough
Suddenly I got an idea to make a guide about the shops in Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland. I ever made this kind of guide on this blog, but maybe the previous one is not as complete as this article.
In the Harvest Moon games, you will not be separated from the shops that help meet your needs. But because the Harvest Moon's world is not too big, so there are only a few shops.
At first, you might think that if you talk to the shopkeeper, you will be given a menu that lets you choose what to buy or sell.
Maybe that's true in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (for example), but not like that in Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland.
In fact, shopkeepers are not needed here (they just watch), because a piece of paper (notepad) in the store has a list of items for sale. Press the (X) button to interact with it.
Each store gives you two options, to buy or sell, except Clove's Villa. You can only sell items there.
BUY: to see the list of what items you can buy from the store, while SELL: to see the list of what items can be bought by the store from you.
Well, here is the complete list of Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland shops, along with items you can buy and sell there.

Moon Garden Bar
Business hours: 6 PM - 12 AMClose: After 12AM
Unlike Cafe, Bar is only managed by Wallace because Katie is not allowed to be in the bar when opened.
Maybe because she is considered not old enough and a woman should not manage the Bar. If you notice, the villagers who visit the Bar until late at night are all men.
So here, Wallace takes every order and presents the dish to the visitors alone
Interestingly, the menu is sold differently from what they sell in the Cafe. The location of the menu is also different, if the Cafe's menu is on the customer table, while the Bar's menu is on the bartender table.
Regardless of all that, the Bar is still a good place to rest after you have a day of work.

Clove's Villa
Business hours: 8 AM - 2 PM and 6 PM - 10 PMClosed on Sundays
Villa is where Dia, Gina, and Martha live in Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. There are 3 rooms you can enter, including living room, kitchen, and Dia's room.
The living room and kitchen are downstairs, while Dia's room is upstairs. She used to spend a lot of time reading books in his room. There is another room upstairs, but you can not enter.
New players are mostly unaware of a piece of paper in the kitchen that lets you sell something there. Sometimes it's called a secret store.
Villa is a good place to sell your crops and dairy products because they will buy everything from you (compared to other stores like Cafe and Ronald's Grocery that will only buy certain items).
However, Villa's kitchen will be locked when Martha or Gina is not there. Basically, it opens between 8 AM - 2 PM and then reopens from 6 PM - 10 PM.
You can sell:
Item Name | Price |
---|---|
Herb | 10 G |
Medium Fish | 80 G |
Large Fish | 120 G |

To find out the location of each store above, you can see the Map by pressing the Select button.
This guide can also be an overview for you where you can sell crops in Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley, although there is little difference.
